I know its mainly due to stress. Ive had it for 4 days now. Marriage on the rocks, husband only a husband when he wants to be, son going through terrible two’s, 8 mo old daughter throwing fits, seems as though shes mocking her brother, husband thinking we live in a picture perfect world and the house should be spotless and dinner on the stove before he gets home, which doesn’t happen, he can keep dreaming…ok I’m going into detail, but it just keeps getting worse and now I have this horrible headache. I’d go lay down but the kids need me and there is no one to help me. I just need to relieve this pain in my head and I’ll be better at dealing with everything else. How can I do that? Meds do not help.

Question by Erin in California: Peripheral vision flashing, pressure, headache, flickering Male 43?
My husband is having some strange issues with his vision. He is 43 years old and sees flashing in his peripheral vision, feels pressure in his eyes and gets a headache. When it is really bad, he has trouble reading (eg. the letters flicker dark and light so he cannot make them out). He did have a tooth abscess about six months ago (when the vision problems started) but it has been taken care of by having the tooth removed. I am not sure one has anything to do with the other but this has been since the abscess was in exsistence. Any ideas?

Answer by infernal_seamonkey
Migraines or cluster headaches. I get those all the time with the same symptoms. He should go to a doctor and get checked out to make sure it isn’t anything else. I was given Imitrex and it’s been a huge relief.

Answer by victor 7707
maybe sinuses or have you hurt your neck, you may pinched a nerve, or it could be a ear infection as well, put some ice on your neck for about 15 minutes, if that stops the funny feelings you will know its coming from your neck

Article by Mike Bordon

Glaucoma or hypertension in the eyes is a condition that leads to loss of eye sight and should be taken care of immediately. One of the most popular eye drops that help to lower the pressure in your eyes is Cosopt eye drops. This prescription medication is a combination of two main drugs called Dorzolamide that is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor and Timolol that is a beta-adrenergic blocking agent. These eye drops are made by Merck and Co, Inc while the generic version of this medicine is manufactured and marketed by various companies.

The dosage prescribed will depend on the severity of your condition, other drugs you are already using and your medical history. Normal dosage prescribed is one drop in the affected eye twice daily for adults. If you forget a dose, administer it as soon as you get reminded about it but do not administer two doses together in order to make up for a missed dosage of this medicine. Cosopt should be preserved in room temperature safe from extreme heat, light and dampness.

Care should be taken to not let the tip of the dropper touch any part of your eye or any other surface to prevent these drops from getting contaminated. This medicine should not be used in people who have asthma, COPD, uncontrolled heart failure, pregnant or lactating women and kidney complications. It should also not be used in people who are allergic to any component of this medication.

The common adverse effects that have been related to Cosopt eye drops are itching, stinging or burning of the eyes, bitter taste, watering of the eyes, hazy vision, swelling of the eye lids, headache, dryness in the eye and sinusitis. But for most people, this drug has not been found to have any adverse effects at all.

Cosopt is a well known drug and at the same time it is widely considered as the best option for most of the strange diseases that you might come along. It is always advised to buy these drugs at a reputed canadian pharmacy, as you can save a lot of time and money. You can click here to buy Generic Cosopt.

Sinus headaches result from a condition called sinusitis. This simply means that the sinuses become inflamed and swollen. The virus can cause this and so can bacterial infections. Even fungi can cause sinusitis. Exposure to various allergens such as pollen or chemicals, impaired immune function, or structural irregularities of the breast will cause inflammation and symptoms of sinus headaches. The symptoms are unusually uncomfortable and painful. In general, you can still function, but you feel miserable. It may seem sometimes that the only consolation is that it will not last forever, but that does not prevent us from seeking help with prescription medicines or visiting the doctor.

Symptoms of sinus headache include a sensation of pain, pressure, congestion and fullness in the cheeks, forehead and brow. Usually, the pain becomes more extreme if you bend forward or lie down.

No nasal discharge is yellow-green and unpleasant, possibly contaminated with blood. Sometimes this is accompanied by fever, sore throat, cough, general fatigue and weakness, and pain sensation in the upper teeth. These symptoms may be easily confused with a migraine. With a migraine, no runny nose or fever, but it is important to note that many studies have shown that 90% of sinus headaches are actually supposed migraines. The best way to alleviate this confusion is to consult a doctor, especially if this happens to you on a regular basis.

There are features of migraine that do not match the symptoms of sinus headaches. Migraine headaches cause extreme sensitivity to noise and high light, nausea and vomiting and are usually so painful that the only comfortable position is lying on a dark, quiet room, without stimulation. Migraines can include runny nose and congestion, but rehabilitation is clear and watery rather than thick yellow-green like experiences with a sinus headache.

Common symptoms, recurrent sinus headaches are an indication of chronic sinusitis. You are at greater risk for chronic sinusitis, if you have asthma, nasal polyps or tumors, allergies to dust, chemicals, fungi and pollen, a weakened immune system, cystic fibrosis, or if you smoke cigarettes or frequent exposure to secondhand smoke.

Sinus headache symptoms can be treated. More drugs are useful for short term use. Sometimes, however, the condition can be more severe and chronic. If you experience sinus headaches often consult a doctor. They will be able to help more than you can help yourself and feel better.

Before we know what the medication Timoptic is all about let us understand what the disease glaucoma is. Actually it is a group of diseases that have certain common features like damage to the optic nerve, high pressure in the eyes, loss of side vision, and probable loss of vision. There are thousands of people who suffer glaucoma and a certain percentage of them become blind because of it. But if this disease is detected early and the necessary treatment is administered you may be in time to save yourself from becoming totally blind. Not every person who has high pressure in the eye has glaucoma, though it is a proven fact that high eye pressure can lead to this disease.

Timoptic which is manufactured by Merck & Co., is a prescription medication that is approved for treating high pressure inside your eye medically called open angle glaucoma. This is a liquid eye medication that is used in the affected eye once or twice daily depending on your condition. There are cases where people using this medication suffer side effects like pain in the eye, crusting of the eye, a feeling that there is some fleck inside the eye, itching, headache, giddiness etc.

This medicated eye solution is available in the form of Timoptic eye drops, Timoptic drops in Ocudose which comes in single use preservative free containers, Timoptic-XE gel forming solution which when dropped into the eye is a liquid but which becomes a gel when it touches the surface of the eye. When you are using the Timoptic solution it is important to remove your contact lenses before using the drops and ensure that you put them back on only after a period of fifteen minutes. Moreover if tyou are using any other eye drops see that you maintain a gap of about ten to fifteen minutes before using the other medication. The different types of Eyes drops or gel are used differently so make sure you know how to use them.

This medication can be categorized into the class of drugs known as beta-adrenergic blockers or beta blockers. These blockers prevent the beta receptors that are situated in various parts of your body inclusive of the eyes from producing too much of fluid in the eyes. This fluid is called aqueous humor. When there is less fluid in the eye then the pressure too is lowered.

Timoptic is a well known drug and at the same time it is widely considered as the best option for most of the strange diseases that you might come along. It is always advised to buy these drugs at a reputed Canadian pharmacy, as you can save a lot of time and money. You can click here to buy Generic Timoptic.

Question by Annabanana♥: Has anyone experience a tension headache?
For the past week I’ve been experiencing a moderately severe headache, it feels like an aching pain in the back of my head and behind my ears, I have no nausea or vomiting. I went to the doctor today and she said that I should see my optometrist, and that I am having a tension headache,I am 16 years old as well. has anyone experienced similar headaches?

Best answer:

Answer by mellowfellow
yes , i have had many tension headaches throug my life and the symptoms are very similar to what you are stating. It seems that your Dr. is saying that you may be having them due to eyestrain – which is a fair comment.Always worth a check, as i have a weak eye and it definately doesnt help when i get a stress headache. My advice can only be to try to relax as much as possible and try to take some of the weight of your head from your shoulders by gently supporting it with your hands etc. Of course this will not cure your problem , maybe just help you read this answer a bit easier…I must admit that sometimes there just seems like there is no answer other than to gently support your head and hopefully sleep, although , though i dont like to recommend painkillers , sometimes an Anti-inflammatory will help no end !!. A paracetamol or two maybe?. Other times gentle heat around the shoulders can be of great help but most of all as tension pain is actually caused by muscles contracting ,, it is obvious that by finding way to make them relax would be the most effective answer. A shoulder and neck massage is great or certainly can be..Sometimes , there is a great help for these which can maybe not quite be the cure but can really help you get through the day & that would be using a cream such as `Tiger Balm’ , it works or helps me no -end and can be purchased for a small price -most anywhere in the world!! , look it up on `Wikipedia’, im sure that once tried this sort of treatment will be `invaluble , and hopefully , as you grow older these pains will go , and if they dont then you will at least have some quite natural remedies to help you forever,
I do feel for you , feel better sooon
