My boyfriend just had his annual physical yesterday and the doc told him he has high blood pressure. He has been taking a lot of allergy/sinus medicines to get rid of his sinus infection. He has taken Sudafed, Dayquil, Excedrin Migraine (for headaches), zinc tablets, and Vitamin C. Can any of this stuff cause high blood pressure?

Did he tell his doctor that he is taking all this stuff? He certainly should have.

I feel like I’m gonna die over here, the right side of my head is pounding and I can actually feel a little vein popping out on the side and my eyes are extremely watery. I already bought like 3 different medication but all of them were generic and is not working at all. Please suggest some over the meds that affordable and that works..Thanks

Have you already tried phenylephrine or pseudophedrine? Aspirin is also good for headaches and inflammation. You might also want to try a benadryl (diphenhydramine) in case it was induced by an allergy.

I have a really bad headache nearly every day due to allergy related sinus issues and most of the time just panodol doesn’t do the trick does anyone have any ideas or medication that will work better?

I used to have sinus trouble all the time growing up. I bought a facial steamer and used eucalyptus drops in it with the warm mist after taking a good decongestant and a dose of ibuprofen. It really helps me clear out my sinuses and relieve the painful pressure. If you’re having a lot of discharge and continuing discomfort despite trying several remedies, it’s a good idea to get in to see an Ear Nose and Throat specialist!

i am allergic to cat dander, dust, amd ragweed. recently found out allergic to milk get bad diahrea and gas pains. what foods can cause congestion, sinus pressure , headaches itchy ears. have headaches for 5yrs daily. wheat, eggs chocolate?

Anything can cause sinus infection. Damp weather, changes in season, and all the above that you have mentioned. My husband and I have always had, and will always have, sinus problems. I find that for relief stand over hot steamy water. A good nasal saline spray will ring relief. We also take Benedryl for allergies. There are just so many things that can cause sinus pressure and headaches. Perhaps you have Migraine headaches? You should probably see your doctor.
